Wuhan Waltz Addendum

This evening, while flipping through television stations, I watched a segment reporting that Vanity Fair recently published an extensive article on the origin of the Covid-19. I easily located that article online and found it to be filled with many specifics, along with a narrative of how certain events have unfolded. The dateline of the article is June 3. I’ve only skimmed though the lengthy piece. It will take serious study to digest all of it, but even a quick glance through it reveals disturbing information.

I mention this as a followup to my recent post titled The Wuhan Waltz. If that post interested you, you may want to check out the Vanity Fair article, which provides a  thorough examination of this evolving story. In it you will find names of a sizeable cast of characters involved (their actions not necessarily above board), along with evidence that certain governmental officials in Washington attempted to squelch evidence suggesting the Wuhan laboratory was the source of the virus.  These revelations disturb me, and I hope they disturb you. The widespread destruction from the Covid-19 pandemic is obvious for all to see.  If it arose from gene manipulation in a laboratory, which now appears to be likely, forceful steps must be taken to prevent similar outbreaks in the future. Those in Washington, and elsewhere, must act swiftly and decisively.

  1. I have read the Vanity Fair article as well and found myself struck by two thoughts;
    1. Vanity Fair wrote this? Hats off to them but not their normal “fair”
    2. Why is the NIH funding any research outside of the US? Research teams across our country submit for NIH funding $’s hoping for grants that will help advance research in the US. Why are we now supplementing research in countries where apparently there is no oversight or control. China has clearly grown to become our largest competitor on the world stage and they are quite transparent in their world view/goals. Our response is to fund? No wonder they now allow 3 children……..

    1. My thoughts are along the same line as yours. It makes zero sense to send research dollars, or any dollars, to China. Our deficit already is ballooning at a ridiculous pace. Monies spent for research should be restricted to domestic laboratories.

  2. Like some others who happened to watch the not so friendly exchange at the congressional hearing between Rand Paul and Dr. Fauci, I couldn’t help but think this kind of behavior is not going to help us understand what really happened. And I couldn’t help but think of the famous line from the book and movie All the President’s Men — follow-the-money. If we provide funds to a foreign country and don’t have any transparent oversight, I can’t help but think that there may be mischief taking place.
